Latex is a rubber particle suspended in water. There are two types of latex – natural and synthetic.  The latex used in Bed Janssen mattresses is a natural latex, produced from the Hevea Brasiliensis rubber tree and designed to deliver optimal performance. It is naturally antimicrobial, dust mite resistant and hypoallergenic.

Memory Foam

Memory foam is polyurethane with additional chemicals increasing its viscosity and density. It is often referred to as "visco-elastic" polyurethane foam, or low-resilience polyurethane foam. Faster speed of recovery of foam to its original shape after a weight is removed is an advantage by memory-foam.

Poly foam

Polyurethane (also called polyfoam or just poly) is the most common type of foam you will see in mattress comfort layers.  It is common to see it used as a very top layer over other higher quality foams used in comfort layers Polyurethane foam can come in many different densities and its quality can vary quite a bit.
